Swedish delicacies part 2: chokladbollar

I’ve been trying to overcome my sugar addiction, but it’s getting more and more difficult now when it’s dark and cold and I need all the energy I can get. I tried making Swedish chokladbollar and they came out quite nice. Again, not super healthy, but maybe it’s good since the winter is coming…

Chokladbollar are really easy to make, you need the following ingredients:

  • 100 g butter (room temperature)
  • 1,5 dl sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 tbsp water or coffee
  • 5 dl rolled oats
  • For decoration e.g. coconut flakes or sprinkles

All you need to do is mix the ingredients, the order is not important in my opinion. Make balls of size you prefer and finally roll them in the sprinkles / other decoration. Serve immediately or keep refrigerated. 🙂
