My Two Years in Sweden in Pictures

Hi everyone! I hope you and your loved ones are doing well in these troubled times. In case you were wondering how I am doing, read my last blog post here. Like everyone else, my life has been changed lately because of the pandemic. So, I am writing my thesis at home while self-isolating -with acknowledging that to be able to stay at home is a privilege these days-…  Whenever I need a break from studies,  and from the news about the current situation (it can be overwhelming together) I find myself looking at pictures that make me smile and happy.

And that’s how I decided to share my photo diary in this post, as a reminder to myself, and to you, this shall pass and things get better. I can’t believe that it’s been almost 2 years since I moved to Sweden.

Norrköping

This small city where I study became home to me. I’ve had unforgettable moments here.

Hazal

Hello! Hej hej! Merhaba! Currently, this three words contain all of my life and apparently I am quite happy with that! My name is Hazal, from Turkey. I was born and grew up in İstanbul. I'm studying my Master's in Ethnic and Migration Studies at Linköping University Campus Norrköping. Since I was a child I've always been curious to go further than that of those around. What took me to Sweden its cinema, music, nature, creativity, equality, innovation, fika, lagom, minimalistic style and it seems a lot! So far, I can say that this is the best decision I've ever made. I love travelling, taking photos, discovering new places and new food. I also like having deep conversations, hanging out with friends, dancing and have fun together. I am passionate about world cinema, techno music and photography. In my free times, I usually work out and try to be out-door to enjoy stunning nature of Sweden. As a part of Study in Sweden team, I am thrilled to share my experiences with you all through both blog posts and Instagram posts&stories. Please stay tuned and inspired!
